Isn't she lovely...

photos via starbucksandjane
She passed away two years before I was born, but her name is very familiar to my ears because my mom was her big fan, and her story was a constant bedtime story instead of Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty. She told me how beautiful and how graceful she was.
I've seen her in some movie clips and yes she was extraordinarily pretty. I've seen her standing besides Prince Rainier III of Monaco. And she was the prettiest princess I've ever seen. But when i found these pictures, I saw her as a simple girl from Pennsylvania who was just having the time of her life, not as an Oscar winning actress, not as a princess, but just as a girl. And this side of her is even more attracting than any other sides. As lovely as Grace Kelly really was.

Carrie Bradshaw Back in the City!!

The awaited sequel of the hugely successful 2008 Sex and the City movie is finally coming. It will be released in May 2010. I can't hardly wait. I'm a big fan of the first movie, and so excited to see how the sequel turn out to be. But hey, looking at these first shooting photos, I know that it's going to be as fabulous as the first one.

Carrie in a gorgeous white Halston dress teamed with Christian Louboutin Pigalle gold sequinned heels and a Chanel clutch. Oh and don't you just love the sunnies and the huge necklace??
My personal favourite: Louboutin gold sequined heels

Carrie in more colours. A purple crepe dress white belted just make our favourite columnist look even more gorgeous. And, yes, another Christian Louboutin heels, but again, who will ever have enough of Louboutin? Armed with the orange framed sunnies and huge pink handbag..
My personal favourite: extra huge pink handbag

Okay, don't freak out. This one apparently is from one scene in which Carrie has a flashback to when she first arrived in New York in the 80s. Thus, the embarrassingly accurate perm. Wearing a sporty grey slashneck sweater, white skinny jeans and..a converse shoes..hmm..I don't know about you, but I think Carrie and flat shoes are not to be put in one picture. I would always prefer Carrie running in her Manolo.
My personal favourite: errr..okay, I think it's the two round luggages..cute..
There's no news yet about the plot of the film, but all I can say is the first day of filming looked suitably stylish. And with costume designer Patricia Field watching closely throughout the shoot I assume that the rest of the filming will follow stylishly in Carrie’s Louboutin-clad footsteps.
